I spent a good part of the evening at the church for choir practice which meant there really was not much time to look for songs for the singsong. Our minister had asked the choir to select the first hymn. After reading the Bible readings, we sang the hymns that had been given as suggestions. The choir ended up selecting VU601 "The Church of Christ in Every Age" using the MARYTON tune (VU472). I particularly liked the words which probably explains why I have used this song in the singsong before.
I will be giving some choices for songs in tomorrow's entry.
